Many of you will know the name as the editor of 'Wheeler on Corfu' and 'Venus of the Isles' but older ones will recall that he was British Vice-Consul here, living with his Greek wife and their four daughters at Paleocastritsa, where the family was half of the winter population of Paleocastritsa!
He was also a keen golfer, until stopped byarthritis, and a stalwart member of Holy trinity.
He died in UK aged 96 last week, and his widow, Nadia, and her daughters are bringing his ashes out this weekend, and there will be a memorial service on Saturday 25th August Holy Trinity Corfu 4p.m. No flowers please, Tributes will go to the Church.
