Corfu Earth Dance Festival - 13th September

Saturday, September 13, 2008, starting the 12 th International Festival for Global Peace and Environment (EARTHDANCE FESTIVAL 2008) with the participation of 340 cities from 60 chores.Apo Greece will participate Athens, Thessaloniki, Corfu, Santorini and the High. The event will begin at 12:00 noon and will last until the early hours of Sunday. The entrance will be the goal of «EARTHDANCE 2008» aimed at raising awareness of citizens on the environment, ecology and peace, the theme of the Festival of Corfu will be the tree.
The events will include:

• Mousikochoreftiko performance «EARTHDANCE»
• Entertainment-Training Workshops for Ecology large and small.
• Projections of Global Events.
• Views Video art.
• Reports of Photography.
• Various artistic events.

The Sunday morning (at 2:00 am Greek time) on 14 September, all cities in all states participating, will join together in a dance kresento to support the environment and world peace. For a few minutes throughout the Earth will be united in the largest synchronized dance event at a world music appeal for the future of life on the planet. The Association of Environmental Protection Corfu supports and participates in «EARTHDANCE FESTIVAL 2008» made for the third consecutive time in our town. It invites members and friends but all active and sensitized citizens to attend events of FESTIVAL as environmental protection and nature goes through and defending world peace and dignity of human life.
