One of the interesting places to visit in the resort of Kontokali is the small church of “Holy Trinity”, built in 1707 by Dimitrios Paschos. This is situated on the main village street, central to the village itself. Some days you can see the Greek Orthodox Priest sat outside, giving out a wave as you stroll by. It is not actually opened to the public, but one can take a look around inside and see the wonderful icons hanging from the walls, with the Orthodox history laid out around the church. On Sunday's the church is packed to its capacity and beyond with the locals. Visitors are invited in also. Next time you are visiting Corfu and Kontokali, do take a stroll along the shore road to the church.
Incidentally, there are some wonderful places close by for refreshments if needed.
